Large Tela Earring

A brass mesh that plays with the light.

This earring is made of raw brass, shaped from a fine, perforated screen that creates a feeling of lightness and transparency. The natural tone of brass, a soft matte gold, becomes even more striking in this flowing form.

Each piece is folded by hand, with no molds or repetitions. This is an original design developed in my studio, part of the Tela Collection, which also includes bracelets and other earring sizes. The posts and backings are made of 925 sterling silver to ensure comfort and safety.

About the material
Brass naturally oxidizes when exposed to air, developing greenish or brownish tones over time. Many people enjoy this effect (I do too). But if you prefer to keep the bright gold tone, you can gently rub the surface with the green side of a kitchen sponge, always in the same direction. I include one with every order.

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and usually does not cause allergic reactions. It may leave a greenish mark on the skin when in contact with moisture or sweat, but this washes off easily with water and is completely harmless.
