About the material
Brass naturally oxidizes over time, developing greenish or brownish tones. If you prefer to keep the original gold tone, gently rub the surface with the green side of a kitchen sponge, always in the same direction. I include a sponge with every order. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and usually does not cause allergic reactions. It may leave a light greenish mark on the skin, but this washes off easily with water and is completely harmless.
